As with every October, brands around the world come up with innovative ways to raise awareness for breast cancer and this year is no different. So expect to see quite a few posts this month highlighting some of our favourites.

First up is Ralph Lauren who is celebrating their 10th anniversary of Pink Pony, the brand’s global initiative to raise awareness and funds in support of the fight against cancer. This year, they are celebrating this milestone by auctioning off over 200 unique items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences via an online auction at www.charitybuzz.com/RalphLauren.

It only takes a little bit o' long-distance travel to remind you that a little bit of preparation goes a long way. Before I boarded my recent 16-hour flight to JFK, I scoffed at the people wearing neck pillows like scarves, but once I'd boarded, it was a one-way trip to jealousy city. I hate you, rough pillow. Tiny blanket, you suck. If only I'd had a Ralph Lauren cashmere travel set...

Not quite a new perfume per say but rather a repackaging of the bottle where the bottle is dressed with violet and fuchsia ribbons: a wink at the couture world of Alber Elbaz.
Top note comprises of lilac green and Sicilian lemon leaves, middle note of wisteria flowers, green tea leaves, peach flowers, red peony and China Osmanthus and a bottom note of white cedarwood of Libanon, precious amber and sweet musks.
