Update Your Look: Resort Redux, Part Deux
I was reading an article last week that noted that resort collections are actually the most-shopped of the year, because they don't cause the fanfare that spring and fall do, and are ergo more seasonless because people don't recognize as many of the pieces, and also because high-street retailers don't massacre them with knockoffs. But what's a girl on a budget to do when Zara isn't giving them an affordable version of the luscious summer looks? And besides, resort 2010 won't hit the racks for a while. But a little time and research goes a long way when you're an intrepid shopper...
At Alexander Wang, this draped skirt was all over the place. I'm needing it. At Asos.
This bright yellow skirt looks so easy to wear, and flattering. The little peplum is great for covering up a bulging stomach, haha. At ALEX&RA.
What a hue! A flirty Jason Wu silhouette calls for mile-long legs. At YesStyle.
Worker-wear made chic by Alexander Wang. I love this whole cazh-cool vibe. At YesStyle.
Brian Reyes does a grown-up dress. I almost even prefer it as a skirt, it's more versatile. At ChicStar.
Burberry's pants drive me crazy. At YesStyle.
