Given the fashion world's attempts to fatten up, between banning too-thin models and championing big-boobed corseted loveliness a la Marc Jacobs and Miuccia Prada this season... it's kind of scary to see the Proenza Schouler boys go the scary photoshop route with their first print ad campaign. I can't decide whether this is a case of virgin campaign creators overlooking the non-existent waist on the model (one of Ann or Kirby Kenny, the twins)... or if this is Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez's convoluted way of asking Kiefer Sutherland to head-butt them again. I'm certainly ready to. No! BAM! One's! BAM! Waist! BAM! Is! BAM! That! BAM! Slim! And also, can I have a PS1 please if I stop head-butting you guys? No? BAM! Here we go again...

Just a very lazy image dump of some vintage Stam I found on my desktop, saved for no particular reason except that she's so ridiculously beautiful I like to keep reminders on hand so I know how much harder I have to work to make up for the fact that I am not her. Some people like Successories to motivate them, I prefer negative self-image association.
Freja Beha Erichsen. I love her best in black and white androgyny, in prettified soft focus, in grungy punk, in basically everything. The opening image is by Mario Sorrenti I believe, I saved it ages ago and I can't remember where it's from, but it's been my laptop wallpaper for ages, I alternate between this and a super sick shot of Stam that's all black lines and white space, very genius, Clockwork Orange-ish. I'll post that one next time. Serious imagery after the cut.
Images: Fashionising, ID magazine and sorry I can't remember the rest. Oops.
I'm in love with Victor Demarchelier. Considering his dad, Patrick, looks like a more rugged and less orange version of Roberto Cavalli, he sure did good with the kid. The boy dates Caroline Trentini, whom he met when he was assisting daddy on a shoot, and the two of them are featured in May's Vogue. I swear I first encountered and fell in love with him after seeing him in party coverage on Style.com, but I can't seem to find the photo anymore (this is the only one that shows up, and it's so not flattering that I'm sure that's not what made my heart go aflutter). He's far from studly, but he's got that "cute thing" -- you know, that thing that makes everyone love Michael J Fox even though he's five-foot-nothing. On another note, this photo was scrounged out of Vogue's Meet the Boyfriends photo feature, which includes Chanel, Doutzen and Julia Stegner with their respective (some very short) men friends. I wonder, is the exclusion of Lily Donaldson and Vladmir Restoin-Roitfeld a reflection on Anna's relationship with Carine? Food for thought.
Matthew Williamson is the perfect designer to do a high-low collab, because his signature thing is prints, which are easily reproduced at any cost range. In your face, McQueen for tar-jay...
Coco Rocha's blog is hilarious... including this old video of her and Behati Prinsloo. Skip the slideshow until you get to the part where they're lipsyncing to Don't Wanna Miss a Thing (around six minutes in). Coco in the background is priceless.
Twilight merchandise saves Hot Topic... although, you know, I've always liked Hot Topic (and now I like it even more! Who's going to buy me a Team Edward T-shirt?) And also, since when did Perez Hilton have a clothing line?
